Tug of War in the Highlands.

In the Highlands of Papua New Guinea today is a time of Political TUG OF WAR. Many tries to pull the rope to become leaders but only one would be the winner of all.

People should select the one who is very tough and strong to concern of them, their children and their communities.

This is one of the strongest man registered himself to join in the tug of war.

His plan is to bring better improvements and developments in the community and sub-centres.    

A Suspect Woman Burnt.

A suspected very young mother of 1 in Mt. Hagen City in the Head Quarters of Western Highlands Province In Papua New Guinea, were burnt by her husband's relatives. We really don't know about this incident but just only one man's suspicious. 


Which is her only husband alone.
She was suspected when their two years old baby's sudden death. 
This youngest father of only 1 said to his wife that; "You only killed my son by using your unknown sorcery activities during night times."

Kagua is one of the districts in the Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea.
This woman dressed with BILUM cap and on top it is feather of Bird of Paradise and several leaves with shaped white toea shell.
Her face is painted with traditional paints and wrapped her neck with colorful beaches.
She covered her breast with red Kina Shell and her harms with target leaves.
Her harm fits are fitted with traditional patterned belts made of cane from the bushes.
She is holding a traditional ax made of stone or we call "Stone ax."
She is wearing a belt made of can and PURPUR (poorr-poorr) grass skirt.

This young girl painted her face with the Western Highland's traditional paints.
She beautifully, decorates her head with Parrot and Bird of Paradise' Feathers.
Such people like this are paid at the end of a day's celebration.
